Hello, Cupcake!

My Mother-n-law gave me this book while she was visiting just before Thanksgiving. The cutest and most creative cupcake ideas are in this book!! You won't believe some of the things they came up with, like spaghetti cupcakes or corn on the cob cupcakes! There are some really adorable ideas that would be so cute for a little boys birthday party!! I'm so excited to try some out. You gotta get this book! So CUTE!! Thanks Judi!!

Baby update!

Today I went in for my Dr. ultrasound. Still a boy! (haha) He is getting so much bigger! I can't believe it. The pics from the first ultrasound, that my mom and I went to in the mall, he looked so little. These pics he looked more like a real baby. I'm almost 20 wks. (yay! half way) and the Dr. said I should be feeling him soon. The ultrasound did show that my placenta is on top of the baby and that may be why I still have not felt anything, with the placenta working as a absorber. He was moving so much though! He was kicking his feet and swinging his little arms. The Tech told me that there is a lot of fluid so he will be moving a lot. She also said that I'm exactly to the day for my due date, which is April 24th. It was so fun to get to see him!
I am still looking for maternity pants! ah! help! I have checked Gap & Target. The fit is just horrible! The crotch is always way long and looks stupid :( Where should I look? I tempted to just get some of the designer maternity jeans. I also need some black pants for work though. Any suggestions??

Christmas Card Pics

So my friend Jessie took some pics of Tony and I for are Christmas card. They turned out so cute and I'm excited for you to see them! For some reason the disc won't work on my computer so when I get that figured out I will post some. I also need your addresses if you would like a Foscarini Christmas card. So please send your address to my email, christin.feller@gmail.com. Thanks!

Cookie swap update

So the cookie swap will be happening on Dec. 13th probably in the evening (but let me know what works best for you) The idea is you bring a plate of your favorite holiday/anytime cookies along with the recipe to give to everyone attending. I think it will be a lot of fun! So please let me know if you would like to attend. The more the better :) Husbands and kids invited of course. Please let me know as soon as you can so I can have a count. Thanks! Hope you can make it.

Hungry? YES!

So I think this explains exactly how I have been feeling lately! HUNGRY! I'm always thirsty and all I want is Milk, milk, milk! I have been craving Olive Garden's soup, salad and bread sticks! (bthw American fork has a O G now and it's way better then Provo's) I have tried to stay healthy though, if I get a sweet tooth I allow myself a few jelly belly's. I read in one of my pregnancy books that in the second trimester you will gain 12-14 lbs! Is that true?! That is a lot!! I guess if I keep staying this hungry it could happen, but that scares me! I'm already at the biggest weight I have ever been. Oh and I also have a question about the garment situation. My bottoms are getting tight in the waist, do I just buy a bigger size or what? And how much bigger, one size?? So confused! Help :)

Picture Time!

Tony and I are going to get some pictures taken. We are not very good at taking pics ourselves, so the only ones we really have are from our wedding. I wanted something new and current for our Christmas card, and also some before we have the baby. My friend Jessie is a photographer and does great work, so I hired her to help us with our problem. She will have a lot to work with, I'm at the stage where I just look fat not pregnant! Not a cute look :( I'm sure she will do great and I'm really excited! If you need a photographer she is also on my blog roll. (I'm lucky to have talented friends) I will post the pics when we get them :)

Baby Bintz!

My friend Carlie makes really adorable baby items ranging from leggings, to blankets. I just bought some adorable things from her. If you need anything, she is a great source. Her company is called Baby Bintz. She is on my blog roll if you want to see more. I love her stuff because the fabrics she uses are so cute!! This is one of the burp clothes that I got, I'm worried I won't want my baby to throw up on something so cute :) Check her stuff out!

Cookie Swap

This year a couple of my friends and I decided that instead of buying each other Christmas gifts this year, we would do a cookie swap instead! Basically, you make your favorite cookie recipe and swap the cookies and the recipe. I think it will be a lot of fun, and you get a bunch of new ideas! If you would like to join us just let me know :) I think I want to a have little party/get together to do the swap, so it will be really fun. Also, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good charity events going on this holiday season. I would like to get involved in one, but just don't know of any yet. Please let me know if you know of a good cause that needs some help!

Baby Clothes Find

So I know I have been complaining about how hard it is to find cute boy clothes. Well I found a store in Fashion Place Mall called "Janie & Jack". They have such a cute selection of boy clothes! I was so excited! They are also on the web, which is nice. These are just two of the adorable outfits I want :)

Christmas shopping!

So I am proud to say that I'm almost completely done with Christmas shopping! I started early this year, because I hate how crazy everything gets closer to Christmas. While we were finishing our shopping I went into J. Crew. Here are just a couple pics of some super cute things I found. They are on my list (along with pretty much anything at J. Crew right now). What are somethings on your lists this year? Tony and I already got each other our Christmas gifts to each other. We got new couches! Yay! :) We had only a sofa and it was really uncomfortable and ugly. So we are both really excited about our purchase. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving as well. I think Tony's parents are coming out here soon. We will see if they make it!

Baby Update

So I am now 4 months along. I am finally starting to feel better, and very happy for that. I have had a nasty cold that I'm trying to get rid of, but seems to be getting worse :( Everyone has been asking me if I have any cravings, so far not really. I have always loved Italian food and now I just want that more. The last couple of days I have noticed my appetite has seemed to increase, I'm always thirsty and hungry. Tony and I have zero food at our house, which is going to need to change quickly. I'm having a hard time finding healthy quick meals. I really don't want to start the fast food runs, way to greasy, yuck! Do you have any suggestions on simple, yet healthy, quick snacks. I still fit into all my regular clothes, when do you usually need to start getting bigger stuff? Tony and I are also trying to make some room for a nursery, so we are combining our office with our guest room. We are going to be putting a desk, coffee table, and a couch on KSL in a few days, but if any one is interested in any of these items before we do let me know. We will be selling them at about a 100 dollars or less. Everything is in good shape, we just need more room in our place for baby :)

Desk: $100.00 Coffee Table: $40.00 Couch: $75.00

Dry Hair Fix

I just found this Conditioning Masque by Sebastian called Penetraitt. I love it! You can use it as a deep conditioner and let it dry for ten minutes. I usually don't have time for that though and use it as just a good conditioner in the shower and let it set for about 5 min. It's great especially with the seasons changing and drying everything out. It really puts that needed moisture back into your hair. Let me know about products you have loved as well! I always love to try new things. :)

Shocker!

Yep! I chopped my hair off!! It was completely random, I had no idea I was going to do it. For those of you who know me well, know that I'm pretty easy going when it comes to my hair. I feel like ever since I have been pregnant my hair has been super dry and really gross. So I sat in the chair and said "I'm bored with my hair and I'm not against cutting it!" So we decided to go with a longer bob to get it healthy again and I can also grow it out if I want. I'm really happy I did it, it will be fun for a change. I also went a little blonder :) Don't worry though I don't want to have mom hair just yet! haha! Let me know what you think, quite a change. I didn't even tell anyone I was doing it (probably cause I didn't know) not even Tony! I hope he likes it!!

Halloween / Baby Update!

First, Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday. Second, I have some news that may seem a little early, but I could not wait any longer. Yesterday my mom and I went up to South Town Mall and went to this place called Fetal Image. I wasn't going to find out what I was having until December! My mom and I wanted to start shopping now, so we went and.....
My mom and I were both in shock. We both thought for sure it was going to be a girl! The Dr. looked at the profile first and said big lips, like a girl. Then he scanned lower and, said 200% boy (did I trick any of you? Well now you know how I felt!), I guess there is no getting around that :) I'm still in shock, I don't know why I thought it was a girl? So I have to say I was a little disappointed, just because of all the cute things I can no longer buy :( I like having boys as the oldest though, so I got that!! I need your help as far as making shopping more fun for a boy? Is it possible?

Love or Lust

We just picked up the Breitling watch line where I work (Goldsmith Co.). The guys I work with are literally foaming at the mouth!! They are obsessed with these watches. It is pretty funny to watch all of them drool on the glass cases, wishing that they had the money to just pull one out and put it on their own wrist. So I decided to go over and make fun of them a little, but then I saw this watch (pic)....beautiful! Yellow gold with diamond ladies Breitling watch. So there I was with the rest of the guys drooling. To bad the price tag on it would force me to sell my first born child! But hey there is always dreaming, so I will :)

Frustrating!

Tuesday I had my second check up with my Dr. The Dr.'s I go to are a group, so my first appt. was with a different Dr. then my second. There are about 6 total in the group. I loved my first appt. Dr. he was so great and answered all my questions. My second went a little differently. First, he didn't really do anything. Which maybe you usually don't do much at your second appt. I don't know. Second, he asked if I had any questions. I said that my biggest concern at this point was how sick I have been! I knew he could not give me a answer about when exactly I would feel better, but I have been taking anti-nausea pills and wanted to know more about those. So I explained to him that I first was on a anti-nausea that worked for awhile and then just one day stopped, so at that point they put me on a different pill. The second pill worked ok, but a side effect was headaches, I'm talking no lights are allowed on and no noise headaches! Bad! So, after explaining this to him I asked if there were any other options for me as far as nausea pills, or if I should just try the first one again. He just kind of sat there and looked at me for a min, then said "Well what do you want?", all annoyed. I clearly don't know names of pills, I'm not a druggie! So I said "I don't know? I just don't know my options?" He acted annoyed with me, like I was trying to get something from him that I shouldn't! It was so weird! I thought I had explained myself pretty clear, I just wanted to know what was my best option at this point. Finally he said "Those two are safe for your baby, but I will write you a new prescription. Only take it when you are sick- no other time! And it is going to make you really sleepy." The whole appt. was wierd, so now I guess I'm taking some drug that is not as safe for my baby and totally knocks me out, Great! Not to mention that I asked him a second question that he just totally ignored and never answered. I wish I could have just had my first Dr. :( Sorry for the rant. Have any of you had wierd Dr. visits or am I just being crazy?

All you Mommy's, Help a future Mommy out

Before all the fun shopping for baby begins, I want to know from you with experience what to do. I am a big believer in the fact that for certain things you don't want to skimp on price, it's better to go for quality. I also know there are somethings that you can definitely be frugal with and it's better that way. That brings me to my dilemma, I know nothing about this whole "baby world". So I'm asking for your advice, where do you feel that you made good purchases and would recommend them. On the other hand where do you feel that you may have made a first time mommy mistake? Help me out :) On anything, bottles, diapers, strollers, cribs, clothing, toys, etc. Where should I splurge and where do I make the penny scream? I would really appreciate your help as always. Thanks Love you guys!

One more reason to love Fall time!

Apples! Not just any apple either. My all time favorite apple has got to be Honey crisp. Oh...they are so good!! If you are looking for a apple that is crispy, but still sweet you may want to try one of these yummy treats! I love them because it really does taste like you are eating some sweet (which usually means horrible for you, but it's just a apple!) treat! If you have never had one, go and get yourself some and see what you have been missing out on :) If you have had one, don't you want one now! Do you have a fall time favorite treat? If you do share yours.

What will our baby look like?!

Tony and I are complete opposites! What does this mean for our child?? haha! I guess we can only hope for the best :) Sometimes I wonder how all this genetic stuff works itself out! What is your guess? Dark like Tony or Fair like me?

Guess what!

I'm Pregnant !!
To be honest I still don't believe it! It was a bit of a shock, to say the least, I still feel unprepared for. I'm due the end of April. I have been as sick as a dog for weeks! I'm just starting to get over it. I'm still sick mornings and nights, but the days are getting much better. ( I hope I didn't just jinx it) I hope I'm not the only one that is just not completely thrilled to be having a baby. I guess I am just nervous of how much my life will change! It might be too that I have just been so stinkin sick. I'm sure excitement will set in soon...it will right?!

Cookie Update!

I had a couple of my friends come over and we were supposed to decorate Halloween Sugar Cookies like the ones you see in the last post....not exactly! The cookies turned out really great, I used my grandma's recipe which is THE BEST!! The frosting on the other hand....was way to runny and kind of a mess! haha! I still had a great time and it was fun to have my friends little girls over. I love these two little girls! They loved getting there pics taken, their moms, not so much :) I did not even get a pic of the cookies but they weren't that cute :( haha! Oh well. It was so much fun to have people over that I love to help start the Halloween season off right!

This is what I want to be doing soon!

Yay! Fall is here. This is my favorite time of year...hands down. I love the changing of the season, it's crisp and cool, but not cold. I LoVe the changing of the leaves and all the beautiful colors! I also really enjoy Halloween, Haunted houses, scary movies, goodies, etc. I really want to make some Halloween sugar cookies this year! I thought that these were pretty cute to get started with. I have a really good sugar cookie reciepe. I also have a great icing, but it is a runny icying. Im not quite sure what people use for the harder icying? Do you know? If you do please help me out :) So I would love to have a girls night of making these cute cookies! If you are interested please let me know so we can schedule something! The more the merrier :)

As a side note, some of you know that Tony was laid off :( But exactly a week from his last day at Orem City he was hired at his new job! Im not quite sure what he is going to be doing, but he will be doing a lot of plans and auto cad drawings for this company that does international pool/ water features. (ex: like the Bellagio water show, that type of thing) He is way excited about it, this is exactly the type of thing he wants to do! He starts tomorrow, so I will keep you updated on how it goes. We have been really blessed to have found something so quickly and something that he really wants to be doing! So thanks for you prayers and support :)

Update...Not that cool :(

Sorry for the lack of posts! I have been busy with....I'm not quite sure?? I hate that! I don't know why i have not had time to post but I have not :) I hate when you have been super busy, but not with anything cool and exciting. Same old work, Tony just started a new semester at UVU and is taking 21 credit hours!! Im way proud of him, all while working too! At the rate he is going he is planning on being done by next summer. Only one more year!! I hope it feels sooner then later :) Well I love you all and love reading your blogs! I will try to be more regular on my posts. Tell next time.....

Squeaky Clean!

I was in desperate need for some body wash! I had completely run out and was starting to use shampoo as a filler. I know gross :( I just have been super busy and feel like I never have time to do anything anymore, let alone shop. I had ENOUGH and made a quick pit stop at target. I found this really cute, fairly big bottle (perfect won't run out as fast as my last one!) and best of all the smell. It kind of smells a little like a guys cologne, not so much that you smell completely like a boy though. It is really a good moisturizer too! Let me know of anything you have found that are fun finds, even basic stuff like soap!

Cuties!

So I have friends with really cute children! Here is Baby Jack, and two of the cutest girls you will ever meet Leila & Kelsey. I hope my pics don't start getting boring. I will continue to post other thing too, I promise. I just feel like my friends and family will make for perfect critics! So be honest on how you think my pics are turning out. :)

Photo 101

So here are a few more pics I took. The yorki is my old dog (my mom stole him) Ande. The cat is my cat Oli, he is looking outside wishing he could bask in the sun. Then the Pom is my little dog Teddy. He was hard to shoot because he is so dark. Tell me what you think of these as well. Thanks!

Photography!

So I am taking a photography class! I have really enjoyed it. Only problem is during most of the class I didn't have a camera :( So I am a little behind because I have not been able to practice. When I finally got a camera I took Tony out to a park and made him be my model. He did pretty good, but started to get bored. He is a very handsome model! Thanks Bub for being patient. I'm posting some for your thoughts on them. I am just starting so obviously have a lot of room to grow, so leave your thoughts please. :)

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday. She will probably be mad at me for putting her pic up. She had one of her friends come by and visit her this morning and then I took her to Oliver Garden (her request) for a birthday lunch. We had a fun time talking and filling up on bread sticks. She had to save room though cause my dad is taking her to Log Haven tonight, it is one of their fav restaurants. I have a cute gift for her, but I cant say what cause she might read this before tonight and then she will know what she is getting. I hope she likes it, it reminded me of her when I saw it, so hopefully she will enjoy it! Well Happy Birthday Mom! I hope you have had a fun day so far and continue to have a great night! I love you!

Colonel Weiford

Well I'm a little late, but my Dad just celebrated his birthday on the 9th and then of course Father's Day! I guess it will be a combined blog. First, Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day. We celebrated by taking him out to Shoots in Riverwoods. One of the bishops in my dad's BYU stake owns that restaurant. It was really good! We had Salt & Pepper chicken (really good). We also had this great dessert, I'm not sure what it was called but it was a shaved ice in the middle of ice cream and fruit. It was so refreshing!! Happy Father's Day too! You have always been a wonderful, loving father. You are such a great guide and friend. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me. I love you so so much! Hope you had two GREAT days :)

Just a few of my favorite things

Starting from the top:

#1. Island hop is the name of this great fragrance. I also have the lotion. If you need a quick pick me up just spray a little of this light, tropical fragrance. You will feel like you are on the beaches of Hawaii! Oh, I close my eyes and I'm almost there :) They come in adorable glass bottles that I love! It is at Gap Body that you can pick up this little vacation in a bottle!

#2. Chocolate Covered Pretzels. My weakness. I love the sweet and salty taste you get when you bite into one of these beautiful treats. Aren't these pretzels pretty?!

#3. I know some of you know that I went to Beauty school. So of course blow dryers, flat iron, hair products tend to drain my bank account. This is my favorite blow dryer!! I love it, it drys my hair SO fast. It also uses some kind of ceramic fusion (I dont know?) That keeps your hair shiny and smooth! It's a little pricey, but well worth it if you ask me. It is the Bespoke Labs, featherweight. Love Love! Oh and it's really lite weight as the name implies.

#4. Isn't this everyones favorite! I love Target! They have really cute things and at a great price...who could ask for more?! I was there early this morning before the masses had showed up....I had the whole store to myself! Heaven :)

So go ahead and give me some of your favorite things!

One Year!! Really?! Whoa!

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TONY!
I cant believe how fast time flies. Tony and I have been married a year on June 1. Wow! It seems like so much has happened! We have moved 3 times, and now own (no longer rent) our cute little place. Tony has really done well in school and will be graduating next summer! YAY! I have been working hard at work and been excelling. We got our cat Oli, our dog Teddy. We have been to California, Hawaii, Georgia, Mexico, Las Vegas, and most recently Park City! That is where we stayed for our anniversary. We actually weren't even together on our anniversary :( I was in Vegas on business and Tony had school and work in Orem. We met in St. George on the 2nd for my grandpa's viewing and funeral (more on early posting). So we decided that we would make the weekend special. We got a great deal to spend the week in park city at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. We had two fireplaces in our suite and a jacuzzi on our deck! It was so much fun! We were able to just relax and unwind from all of our hard work the previous week. I have to say if you are looking for a fun little get away, the summer packages you can get in park city are ridiculous. We got to stay in a beautiful suite and have a free 3 course dinner each night we stayed, at there restaurant. Our dinner bill alone was $130.00 each night that we got for free! You can get some really great steals on the off season. Just for fun Stein Erikson is where Katherine Heigl was married! (as pictured)
