I can't believe my baby is already nine months old! It really goes by so so fast. I love every minute of it! River is still refusing to crawl, but loves to walk (assisted) and cruise all over furniture. He will just go round and round the coffee table and just laugh. He is really loving the independence it gives him. He also learned how to open drawers and cabinets. He laughs so hard when he gets a drawer or door opened by himself, it is really cute. He has started to eat more normal foods, but is still nursing. I know it is pathetic, but he has just started to sleep in his crib and is doing really well. It definitely helps me sleep better when he is not in the same bed as me. He is not sleeping through the night yet, which I'm hoping will change very soon! He is really getting such a personality and melts everyone he meets with his cute little smile. He is such a happy kid. He's my little babe and I love him!

So basically he is a orange on a short toothpick! haha! His length really went down this time. He has been in the 75% and went down to the 25%, the Dr. said it's not a big deal and thinks River will be tall. So we will see if he gets the Feller shorty gene or the Foscarini height, only time will tell.

River is one spoiled Valentine!

River is so loved, Valentines is his holiday I guess! He has two very proud Grandma's. River just got this adorable cookie delivery today from his Grandma Foscarini, he was all about trying to rip it apart :) He was also spoiled by his Grandma Feller who gave him some books, bib, and some toys. He is the best Valentine and I think Grandma's are fighting over who's Valentine he gets to be ;) Not to mention his Mommy wanting him to be her Valentine!! What a loved little boy, he already has all the girls after him ;) Thanks to both Grandma's for the wonderful gifts and Happy Valentines Day to both of you! Love you all!

My Friend posted this pic on Facebook and it made me laugh! So I thought I would share it with you. I was lucky enough to grow up in a neighborhood that had a TON of kids my own age. There was always a Birthday party or some event to attend. I had a wonderful childhood, and this pic just reminded me of that. I hope that River will be able to have as much fun, as a kid, that I had. Great memories :)

Snow. snow. Go Away!

Tony and I have decided that we are SO over Winter! This is what we woke up to on Saturday morning. Although I have to admit that it looked beautiful, I am done with the snow. Tony and I have not had time to go actually enjoy the snow by skiing, so we would rather be at a beach :)

My baby is getting so BIG

I can't believe that my sweet little boy is already 8.5 months old! He is growing up so fast! I'm sorry if you get bored of all my post being about River, but he is literally everything to me :) I feel like before I know it my baby is going to be a man...well maybe not that fast...but you know what I mean. Every moment with him is precious! I love love love...infinitely love you baby boy!

I am very far behind! We had a wonderful Christmas this year spent with my family. My brother was able to come home to spend River's first Christmas with us. My Dad, Trevor and I were all very busy at the store, and even though we weren't able to spend as much time away from work, for the holiday, that we would have liked to, we had a great Holiday. We played some games and just relaxed after pulling some really long nights at the store. River was so adorable, and LOVED opening all his gifts! He actually was interested in the actual gifts too, not just the wrapping paper. He was very spoiled and got toys, books, elmo, clothing, etc. etc. Tony got some basketball shoes he has been wanting for awhile. I got some perfume and Tony surprised me with some new high heels! Tony had fun this Christmas trying out some new recipes too. He made scones, and bananas Foster, both were delicious! We are so grateful for the many blessings that are ours and hope that you all had as wonderful of a Christmas season as we did :)

Milestones

There hasn't been to much going on lately with our family, just work as usual. River has started to do some cute things that I wanted to have a record of though. Every morning when I'm getting ready I have waved hello to Riv in our bathroom mirror and he has always loved it. Well, I guess he caught on to how to wave because out of the blue he just started waving to people! It is really cute :) He doesn't actually wave his hand, he just holds his hand up in the air. He waves at customers in the store and they love it! His two bottom teeth have broken through and are very sharp! He has been a pretty good teether, not too grumpy. He is starting to say da da, but not ma ma :( He is becoming a lot more giggly too, which I love! He has the best laugh ever. He still shows no interest in crawling, but loves to be on his feet and laughs when we help him walk around. He is showing more interest in food too. He has always loved food, but now he really wants it all the time! I gave him a biter cookie and he just laughed the whole time, I think he liked that he could hold the cookie by himself :) He is the cutest little guy and adds so much happiness into our lives!
