Relaxation :)

I was lucky enough to be able to go and get a massage today! Ahhhhh....I love love love getting massaged! Thank you Heather for the gift card, it was the best hour spent in a long time :) I was kind of curious how I would lay on the table with my big preggo belly, but she just used a pillow that I rested my leg on. So basically I was on my side hugging a body pillow. It worked perfect, and lasted a whole hour. Every pregnant girl deserves to treat herself to at least one massage while she is feeling so pulled and streched by baby. I want to go again! I think I will wait until baby comes though, I'm sure I will need one just as much then :S

Pleasant Surprise!

I payed all my bills online today, but when I went to pay our electric bill it said we owed $0.00. I was very confused so I looked a little closer at the bill and it said that we actually had $0.60 in credit?? I knew there must be some mistake, so I called the 1-800 number to check it out. Come to find out that I had double paid last month on accident! It was correct, no electric bill for this month :) I love pleasant surprises!!

Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled!!!

My child is already the most spoiled kid on the block!! I guess that is what happens when you are having the first grandchild on both sides of the family!! I don't think he will ever go without...anything!! Look at all those clothes! I am so grateful to EVERYONE who has been so generous to us :) Really, I can't thank you all enough. This all has come from 2 baby showers and very very....very excited Grandma and Grandpa's. I hope that my little boy is not spoiled until he is completely rotten. I had my 2nd baby shower that the women in my neighborhood threw for me on Thursday night. It was so much fun and they went so out of their way to make it such a special event!! It was beautiful, I forgot my camera and I am so sad cause it really was a wonderful party. I did take a pic of the flower arrangement that I was able to take home from it though. Aren't they pretty, the woman that did the flowers also was my wedding planner, so it was so fun to have her be involved in 2 major events in my life :) I just want to thank all the woman that spent so much time on such a great shower!

Baby Shower!

I had a wonderful Baby Shower! Thank you so much to everyone who came, and for all the adorable gifts. It really meant a lot to me :) Special thanks to Laurel who worked so hard to put it all together!! I have such great friends and I'm so thankful for all of you! I tried to publish more pics, but they are taking so long to download so I will post more later. In the top pic is Jill and I having a belly battle..she is due like 2 wks after me..I clearly won!! My belly is so much bigger then hers!!! I am very much feeling like a fat cow and want my body back :) I'm starting to get nervous I will never lose the weight :( Patience is key I guess. I got so much cute stuff!! I got some really adorable, and SOFT blankets (One even homemade!), clothes, socks, wipes, gift card, massage certificate, movies, etc.. You all went overboard and spoiled me big time!! I love you all so much and am so thankful for the advice and encouragment you all gave me. Laurel and Liza were teaching me the tricks of swaddeling...I think I will need more practice haha! Again thank you so much for all that helped and for all the sweet gifts, you guys are the best!!

Saturday Nursery Project

I spent the day today painting! Tony and I have been wondering what to do with a big empty wall we had in our Nursery/Guestroom. I wanted something that would be cute for a nursery, but not so childish that it wouldn't look good with our guest bed. This is what I came up with! I painted some cute little animals (elephant, chick, & bunny) I thought that would be nursery looking and mixed those with random paintings of leaves, flowers and polka-dots. I think it turned out pretty cute. Some of them didn't come out quite how I had envisioned, but rarely things do :) It was fun to be creative and get to paint a little, which I have not done in forever, but I really like painting! I hope it is something that my little boy will enjoy on his walls while he is growing up! Let me know what you think?

Well then!

Tony has been playing on our ward's basketball team. He had a game and he was getting all ready to go getting pumped up like boys do. He was all ready to go so I started getting my stuff to go with him, like I usually do, but he stops me and is like " Can you not come to this game? I want to play good and you always make me nervous." He was totally serious!! I couldn't believe it, I started laughing and put my stuff down and had to stay home!! I don't know if that is cute or just weird?! I make him nervous?!? It's not like I am yelling for him to make the shot! haha! What do I make of this? Am I that much of a negative presence? :)

Tap Dancing!

So now that the baby is getting a lot bigger (my belly is huge!!) I feel like he is tap dancing on my bladder! It is the worst, I will feel a sudden kick and it's like I have to go to the bathroom so bad but when I try to go I get nothing!! haha! (Sorry for the details) It is like the worst sensation ever and then to not be able to relieve it like any normal person that has to go to the bathroom...torture! I really am amazed at how big my belly has gotten these last couple of days even!! I feel so big. My stomach has started to feel tight at times and sometimes even crampy, is that pretty normal? I also have been having a very weird appeitit, nothing sounds good, and I feel kind of sick all the time :( Any of you had that towards the end? Ah...the baby is just moving like crazy in my belly right now!!! I think he is trying to say hi to all of you :)

Random

This is the deodorant I am currently using, but I am literally almost out. I don't want to use this kind again, it smelled good and all but I just didn't like it that much. Do any of you have a deodorant that you really like? I know this is completely random, but I need some suggestions. I want it to smell good and be a antiperspirant of course, but which brand to go with? If you have a fave let me know :)

Nesting?

I think that I am in the nesting stage of pregnancy, I know that whether or not nesting truly exists is up for debate, but I'm pretty sure I'm going through it now! Tony and I spent are whole Saturday deep cleaning our place. No corner was left un-dusted. Even down to the air filter for the AC unit was changed. My next mission is to tackle our out of hand laundry. Now this is going to be quite a feat! Because I don't fit into any of my clothes, why wash them :) So needless to say that as I have been growing out of my clothes I have been leaving a trail of dirty clothes behind me. Not a pretty sight, I have bags of clothes that need to be washed! AH! One by one I am starting to get loads of laundry out of the way, but still have a way to go. How did this get so out of hand? One problem has always been that we just simply don't have enough room for all of our clothes. We desperatly need a dresser, but that has moved last on the list of priority with baby coming. I guess I will just have to get some more hangers and hang everything until we get the dresser we really need, but I hate hanging clothes!! I would so much rather fold them and put them in a drawer :) I must have a clean house (including clothes) before baby comes though! So to nesting I go!!

Baby Room!

It has been awhile since I last updated :( Tony and I have been very busy with Dr. appts, Childbirth classes, meeting with our Doula and going over my birth plan, work and school! We just finished painting the nursery green. It is really bright and fun! So I posted a pic of the crib and newly painted wall for you all to see :) I also posted a pic of Tony and I on V-day, because we just got our camera back after leaving it at Grand America over V-day. Opps! I can't believe how close it is getting to when I'm going to get to meet the little boy living inside of me....so weird!! Tony and I still have not been able to come up with a name, but depending on what he looks like the name could be very different. So we are going to wait and see him first I think. My belly is growing everyday and I don't know how much bigger it can get!! I, luckily, up to this point have been blessed with no stretch marks. I have heard from serveral people though that a lot of times you get stretch marks when the baby drops in position. I'm hoping I will be lucky enough to go without though :) Im 34 wks now.....what were your feelings around this time in your pregnancy? I'm feeling nervous, excited, anxious, scared (for delivery mostly), unprepared, fat and wonder if my body will ever be the same! What, if anything, can I do to better prepare myself for what is to shortly come? (Delivery, and a baby)
