Wow! It's been awhile!

Sorry it has been so long!
Holiday Update
The holidays and everything else kept me away. Christmas was very fun! We spent Christmas with my family and had a great time. I didn't get much of a break though, work is so busy during that time of year. My brother Tate came in town from Kansas and we spent a lot of time playing games with him and family. Tony and I tried to limit the gifts to each other this year, just to save some money. We said no gifts, but I can't do that. So I bought him a cool cardigan at Banana Republic (It was on sale :) I hid it so he wouldn't know I broke our deal. I pulled it out on Christmas and he was all surprised! He really liked it so I was happy. He really surprised me though when he pulled something out he wanted to surprise me with! I really didn't want or thought he would get me anything. He got me a Nintendo DS! I randomly wanted one haha! I know I know I'm a little 13 year old asking for a DS. They are pretty fun though and I have this game called brain age that helps keep your brain on it's toes :) I also got mariokart, which Tony has played WAY more then me lol. The holidays were great.

Preggo Update
I posted a pregnant pic just because I always want to see how people look when they are pregnant and it seems that none of them ever wanted to get their pic taken. Well now I know why! I feel like a fat cow! The last thing I want is a pic to remember how fat I am haha! I am almost 27 weeks along and I already think pregnancy last to long. I know what you are thinking good luck in the next three months! I can already tell they are going to drag by way to slow :( I still have not purchased any maternity clothes and I think I'm going to be forced to very soon. At my last Dr. appt my Dr. looked at my pants (which are held together with a hair elastic!) and said " I don't think you will be able to pull that off for much longer!" I know, but I don't want to buy maternity pants!! My belly button is still a inny!! Yay!! It keeps getting more and more shallow though :( I have a crib already! I found a really cute one that was on sale and I had a coupon on top of the sale, so I went ahead and got it. (Thanks to my in laws who bought it for us!!) It is all set up in our second bedroom, it's kind of weird to see it. I still can not picture myself with a baby! I feel like I'm just playing house or something. I think I'm going to have a HUGE reality check when I can actually hold him!!! SO WEIRD!! Hopefully I don't freak out. I do have a question? How does bath time work? Do I bathe him in the sink? Do I buy a bath bed thingy? Our tub is pretty deep so I think that could be kind of hard to bath him in at first. What did you do? We still have not setteled on a name. We used to battle on names, now we just don't really talk about it cause we get to mad! lol! We are crack heads :) We will figure it out eventually I guess. Well sorry it has been awhile, but please leave comments with any advise you wish you had before you had kids! I'm sure I will need it! Especially breastfeeding, I'm very curious how that all works :) Thanks for being so helpful! Love you all!

Christin, you bearly even look pregnant! I think you look great! As for bath time, I would suggest getting a little baby bath tub. That way his head will be supported while you wash. It's very convinient and inexpensive. I think they are only about $10 bucks at walmart, but you might even get one for a baby shower. I got mine from my baby shower and love it!

Any way you can bathe your little one that doesn't require leaning over the better! I have a little table-top bath which was awesome for the first few months, but the only kicker is storage. Do you want to borrow it? Lincoln bathes in the tub and sometimes the sink. Oh! And babies are SLIPPERY when wet.

They'll help you with breastfeeding in the hospital. It's not as bad as everyone told me it would be. Just relax and be patient. The baby doesn't arrive with a huge appetite, so don't be freaked if he doesn't want to do the gallon challenge right off the bat. :)

You are such a cute prego girl! I feel the same way about my preggo pictures though, I hate looking at them still!

As far as advice, I wish that someone would have told me how tired you get once the baby comes. I have never been so tired in my life!! Take all the help you can get and rest when the baby is sleeping. And don't worry if you are very hormonal and weepy.....it is so normal to feel out of "whack" for the first few weeks. Anyway, I wish that someone would have better prepared me for all of that stuff!

A lot of times I would just get in the bath with my babies. They lay on my warm legs and we play and I wash them. That is my favorite. Or a big sponge that lays on the bottom of the tub. They hate their baths at the beginning but then it turns into the best part of the day. PS. you barely look prego and I had Matthew at 27 weeks.

In answer to your question on my blog about teeth hurting. Yes, I can tell when Lincoln is in pain. It's usually worst the day or two before the tooth actually pushes through. Some kids do better than others. Some moms have no idea their kids are getting teeth until they appear, others know WEEKS in advance. Every kid is different.
